Essential Contractor is owned and operated by Paul J. Kelly. Paul is both a licensed contractor and lawyer and has helped contractors obtain, and keep their licenses, form construction companies, develop property, and negotiate contracts. Additionally, Paul was a former Building Inspector for Hillsborough County, Florida and served as a “Builder” in the United States Naval Construction Battalion, the “Seabees” and has built throughout the world including Iceland, Guam, Greece, and Spain.
Paul assists clients with all aspects of contracting, from initial exam/license application and corporation formation to disciplinary proceedings, litigation, zoning/land use, liens, insurance, accounting, equipment, and financing.
